La Casa del Guajolote: Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Mesa, AZ

Wow the food was so great quality and the flavors were outstanding! The service was attentive and polite. The woman who helped us was patient with all of our questions and we ended up eating amazing food and their pozole, was one of my favorite dishes!

Not sure if it was the owner that served my friend and I but he helped us select a great meal, Tortas, and even brought out a free appetizer. Glad we stopped by, I’d recommend if you’re in the area. Especially for the friendly staff and good food.

Very delicious food. Came here as we were trying to find Mexican food. This is God's honest great Mexican food. True gourmet food unlike like I have never had from Mexico. We ordered normal tostadas & bean burrito. I introduced myself to the owner and told him it was my first time coming to La Casa Del Guajolote. After he brought out our order and we started eating it was all very good typical Mexican food. Salsa bar too so I was really surprised when he brought out an order blie corn tlayacoyos and a guajolote sandwich. We all shared and loved both dishes. We all loved them both. I look forward to discovering more treasures from La Casa Del Guajolote.

Wife and I visited multiple Mexican restaurants along Main St with the goal of finding the best carne asada tacos in Mesa. We graded on multiple categories, La Casa del Guajolote won 1st overall. Go try it, your're going to love it!

The Posole is INCREDIBLE! The meat in the Posole was tender, and it had just the right amount of spice! Also had the Tiacoyo and that blew us away. All three salsa flavors were SO GOOD! We've loved here for over a decade and never knew this place existed?? This is our new favorite Mexican Restaurant in the valley? A MUST GO if visiting Phoenix/Mesa for any reason!

The Tlacoyo is incredible. Blows my mind every time I eat it. The vibrant green sauce it comes with is wildly delicious. Absolutely no way anyone wouldn’t love one. The Guajolote is nearly equally as tasty. I get the fully loaded one with everything, it’s giant and would easily feed 2, but of course I eat it all myself. Get these two things, I promise you won’t regret it. Oh and you might as well throw in a homemade flan/chocolate cake too.

We found this place by accident and it is now one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The food and atmosphere is 100% authentic. It’s within walking distance not the light rail stop and Christ the King parish and school My fussy daughter ate her entire quesadilla and announced that she loved it. My wife had asado tacos and menudo. Excellent. My son had pork tamales. I am not a big fan of tamales, but I ate some of his because they were so good. My asado quesadilla was perfect. I love their red salsa. It has a smoky flavor and the green salsa made my gums tingle. Love. Highly recommended.

Loved the food! It tasted home made and the tamales were freshly made. They have the best customer services they noticed it was our first time trying they even brought us something to try out! I will be coming back for sure!
